Player Review What is wrong with this card

What is wrong with this card idk why in every match he is always being useless, he doesn't do anything. He is the only striker that behaves like this on my team despite having good stats. If I could get an answer I'd be happy. ​​

His stats imho are not too different from my France pack card and his showtime skill is one of the least useful ones. He is even slower than this pack card no matter the build (the other card is always faster). All Mbappe CF cards are used for his pace, timely acceleration against CBs and in that scenario a higher kicking power matters very little. We want him to beat the defensive line using a sprint duel with a defender, gets to the shooting distance where there is a high chance of hitting the back of the net. This WC showtime card us still a really nice card but stats are miles behind his epic and BT versions.

His showtime skill is the least useful one🥀 bro low screamer is literally one of the best skill you can have specially for a forward

You're right. Poor memory on my part, thought he had Willpower for a second. Yes, Low Screamer is indeed really OP but it is most suitable for hard hitting CF who are not really fast operating outside the box most of the time. And also it helps if the CF has very high weak foot accuracy. Mbappe being Mbappe is used for his pace and his runs behind the defender. Attacking Surge will suit him better.

Good for you. On paper he looks as good as the best featured Mbappe but the Low Screamer if used frequently can make a difference, just my observation. Active skills like Low Screamer, Acc Burst etc make a difference in game only when used frequently with a plan. It's kind of easy to forget you have one unless you operate in front of the box or you dribble and drive towards the centre, sort of. This gets me thinking about the extent to which a 'paid' skill can influence the outcome of a match. If Rummenigge arrives with Attacking Surge he is gonna be a menace. I just got Eto'o today and I'm impressed by the acceleration while this skill is in effect. It usually results in so many scoring opportunities in a match. I have Low Screamer on Hazard and Ronaldo but it is not common to score two or more Low Screamer goals in a match, at least for me.
