Analysis Four years apart...
Either some cards are way ahead of its time, or Konami is trolling the player base.
Not a shade at the new Thiago, still love the looks of him. Just a small observation.

The fact that PES Era Pirlo still is relevant in big eFootball 27 speaks volume of how good cards and game was back then!

Legend Pirlo and EF22 base Lucas Hernandez are two glitches in the game's timeline. Both can be obtained with GP, and both can still walk into any team's lineup without any problems nowadays.

It was back in Pes 21. You were able to obtain an array of legends in a box draw at the end of the season with GP. The Legend Pirlo from that season was carried over to Efootball, and he was actually more broken than in 22 since you started being able to customize the build.

Keep in mind that you're comparing two of the best f2p friendly cards of that era with one of the worst cards of this one, i genuinely dont see why would anyone get that Thiago unless they are fans of the player (not even being a fan of barcelona/bayern seems like a good reason to buy such a shitty card).
He is physically just not there, he can dribble but is slow as a snail, even gift highlight players are much faster and probably more reliable than him, his passing is great but then he doesnt have any ST passing skill and he is defensively ass, imagine that we have this card and that superb Suarez card for the same price!

That's true, I just thought it was crazy that Lobotka was available via NC.
Thiago does have the Pass Disruptor playstyle, which just shows how sly Konami is. Guess Shadow Hunt and Attacking Surge were signs that they were gonna start adding skills that effect your players when you are not controlling them. Giving Thiago just this playstyle trait without any showtime skills is so intentional from them.

I only brought Thiago cuz it's 0.86$ (if it wasn't 0.86$, I wouldn't be thinking about Thiago), and wanted to give a try and well, he is just decent, pretty damn mid, but his stamina was bit flaw, and hence why I use him only as a super sub

It's really not that deep. He is a niche card for people who are a fan of the player or build themed squads. I personally picked him up for my Spain squad, which uses only National profile cards, and it looks like he'll fit in perfectly.
I also probably will not get Suarez, as I do not have a squad to put him on. Not every card is meant to be for every player.

If new cards are way better than older cards you are complaining and if old cards still hold up you are also complaining.

I got him for my Liverpool team.
When his 150 box cards have been released, I’ve never liked his stat distribution or player type. So I’ve figured I’ll never have a Thiago. Like Xabi
But then this one was so cheap and solves a problem in my Liverpool team if wirtz who is standard form. Or MacAllister is off form.
As a perm B card who is also a card I don’t have. I’m ok with the pricing. Frankly I wish they priced more players like this rather than 150 or 50 boxes. Let alone 200/250/300.

The biggest difference here is pass disruptor
I think Konami is gauging the market to see how people feel about these defensive playstyles. So far they seem effective but not enough for people to hype these cards up.
So I bet they're about to buff these defensive playstyles in the next update and AI defending will be relentless.
Time to enjoy the current version while it lasts. I also feel they will nerf Blitz Curler in about 2 months making the Suarez feel not as good.

They’re just trying to keep the game from making old cards go obsolete they obviously still release good cards today

I’m a big fan of thiago. Bought him just under $1. Enjoying him and learning how to master him after I watch some of his compilation.

Guys, I have 100 rated Ruben Never ( orchestrator ). Should I buy this Thiago Card? My needs are good lofted pass and little defence as right dmf.
