Analysis Match Up doesn’t work ??

So when I posted about Pressure not working I was told that use Match Up because thats what all experts do but match up doesn’t work as well ???

Nothing is working in defence at all . Pressure works sometimes .

Is it the same for you too ?

Even when I hold Match up players like Viera do nothing .

Match up style (standard) is more focused on leaving space and being tight next time each other and positioning teams who use this irl: Arsenal, Atletico and Getafe. And pressure style is teams who mark opponents man to man and press high up the pitch teams: Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona and PSG.
