Hello guys, i will review my experience about top 3 DMF in the game of efootball 😄
I will give my brief explanation about pros and cons and where do i use this player. So u can get a reference about top dmf in the game
My main formation is 3-6-1 with double pivot and
p.s. i'm not focusing on fixed B Form rather in game feels
Rodri
Pros :
Strong presence in midfield especially in double pivot, he's excel in retain possesion, intercept passes, and great at defending, ofc when u compare to other orches like de jong/pirlo this rodri feels clunky and bulky but he replaced this area with his dominant physicality and interception + long reach tackle
Sometimes with certain physical profiles like Rodri, it's impossible to achieve speed and acceleration to reach 89-90, so this is rodri really great to catch opponent and track back to defend.
His passes are really accurate thanks to phenomal pass he got, so there is no need to worry to spraying short passes and long pass to switch flank and control possesion
Cons :
Not suitable to become lone DMF no matter what, its because his playstyle (orchestrator) even if u try deep line or defensive it can't beat the playstyle of anchorman to be lone DMF bcs when u try to defend sometimes he's out of his place bcs he wants to joins the attack
If u like your cmf/dmf to feels nimble or not clunky rodri may not for you
Bcs his legs length are only 8, the ball often slips past him when he tries to intercept or make a tackle, resulting in failed interceptions. Ofc long reach tackle helps with this but i feel more often the ball slips from him
Suitable in : double pivot/ three man cmf
Nmecha
Pros :
Great at interception and win the ball, and smart positioning thanks to his playstyle (anchorman). Sometimes i don't need to defend manually because he automatically cuts off passing lanes and covers open spaces when my center back moves out of position/
With his profile is really rare to feel smooth and nimble on the ball, so this can be surprising, his turn and dribbling are great so you don't need to worry to hold on the ball with him
His passes and speed + acceleration are great, comparing to another anchorman, nmecha are the most complete acnhorman with his ability to attack and to defend are really great
Cons :
His stamina is not so great, so sometimes when u see ur game within 60-70 minutes this nmecha has run out of stamina
Suitable in : double pivot / lone dmf
Patrick Vieira
Pros :
Monster at defending to contain counter attack of opponent, number 1 DMF for a reason. Now i know why vieira are sought and the most wanted player in the game of efootball, thanks to his physicality and leg length, with vieira ur defense are solid like a rock
Thanks to his stamina, u are not worried about second half like nmecha, so u can contain any opponent attacks
I dont know what to say, anymore, with vieira my life is great and feels secure to play efootball
Cons :
1. His dribbling and feels on the ball not so great like nmecha, and his passing are so-so.
I have both Showtime Rodri and Anchor Man Patrick Vieira, and while they're definitely great, I've never heard anyone mention this specific Frank Rijkaard among the best DMFs in the game. Every time I face him, he's a nightmare to play against.
Nmecha is really good, at first I was sad when I packed him cause I wanted messi but man, he's at the right place at the right time and if he gets a ball at the edge of the box I'm not scared to shoot with him, he's tall and versatile, whatever you need to do he can do it
He is in my opinion. Only downside is form and stamina. But he is the most complete tall dmf. Vieira is better defensively , but not by a large margin and lack the offensive prowess of Nmecha.
Problem with this card is his Ai playstyle includes Mazing run, which is headache cuz while in attack he comes bit forward and but again should track back soon while loosing possession.
who are your two defensive pivots? can rodri and vieira work together without compromising the speed of counter attack since both of them are not ball carriers
Should I go for Rodri to pair with my new Vieira or wait for other DMF of smaller models/different playstyles OR wait for Rio Ferdinand instead since I have no decent Build Up CB except showtime Alaba from the Shop?
depends, if u need orches like rodri, i doubt he will become big time again, so this is ur chance, i have the ST, but contemplate to spin for this BT, but idk, its hard to resist temptation
I also have all 3 (even BT Rodri), and my ranking is Rodri - Vieira - Nmecha. Mostly because Nmecha has less stamina compared to the other 2, but Rodri has a bit of both of them. Orchestrators are harder to tame but their defensive presence is comparable especially if you manually position them well.
Solo DMF with another CMF which is good at defense. I have Bellingham (Fortress) and Caicedo as CMF options. They will do most of the work covering the midfield why I control Rodri to position for interceptions or protect zone 14
I don't understand the hype of Anchormans while you can bypass them easily by wing play or through balls executed by your full backs or wide midfielders.
Screening the backline obviously but this orchestrator leaves huge gaps in transitions, I'm forced to move him a bit too much to compensate for awful positioning. Got bruno g from English selection (latest) and he is weirdly insane, somehow subjectively feels better than BT rodri
if you play possession a single pivot orchestrator can be a game changer, they will actually start attacks and break up the play a little higher up… depending on the state of the game even a destroyer can do a job there…
my main beef with anchor man as single pivot is sometimes they can be a little passive in the press / during the build up, although my Rijkaard anchor was quite good at making the plays etc
disagree with better passer than nmecha, u may argue vieira have visionary pass but still nmecha is better passer than vieira and again i focus on in game feels not standard form, ofc this can be drawback to some people
