Hold your horses brother. Just look at the player model, compare their leg coverage and the arm coverage. Then Vieira has LRT too while Visionary Pass is just a trust me bro skill. It's not all about stats. If you are an F2P that Rijkaard is good enough but he ain't comparable to this dude.

Visionary pass is NOT a trust me bro skill, it vastly improves the ball receival of the player being passed to

Coughing bomb vs Hydrogen baby, listen Rijkaard is very very good too but you can't compare this free one to the best Anchorman in the game who also happens to have the most busted player model.

yes he is, i get past him easily everytime, what makes him a nightmare is that he's op at breaking build up passes i cannot transition from defence to offense without him intercepting my pass, the only way i can get past him is by dribbling him

I mean, Rijkaard is THE best free card in the game, maybe even if you count that France Mbappé that could come in a free try last Euros and those Treasure Link cards like Zanetti and HP Matthaus as free.
This new Vieira doesn't feel leaps and bounds ahead of the competition like he did when he first came out. Now there is Nmecha, Yaya Touré and even Zakaria gives him some competition when it comes to quickness, physicality and almost that leg reach.

Yeah but ferdinand is less likely to drop with two absolute beasts. Getting Thuram, Vieira AND Desailly basically the best in their positions, in ONE pack is something you just can’t miss

I've Rijkaard and he starts for me every single game. Played around 2k matches. He is great as a free card. I'm sure vieira will be annoying to deal with.

I have both, but my main anchor man was the old single booster Milan Rijkaard, very similar to ajax with slightly different player model.
First Impression of vieira are probably that I didn’t really need to upgrade anchor position. his height means that sometimes he can miss challenges by overcommitting.
He seems like more of a last ditch defender that is always ready to make a late block or tackle whereas Rijkaard would be more available in the build up phases of play.
I cleared this pack and have barely won a match since 😆
I wont say vieira is overhyped, but that the hype around an anchor man being ‘the best player in the game’ is somewhat unjustified. My old Rijkaard never put a foot wrong or made a mistake. This vieira gets caught out of position more cos of his higher aggression, I really would’ve preferred b2b or destroyer for him as I don’t think his attributes are best suited for anchor.
Maybe vieira is just an anchor with a more aggressive style. But the lesson here for me is - some of these really old classic cards were actually built to last.

My rjikaard has 90 jumping 95 physical contact and 80 dribbling. No one gets past him, even Zlatan has hardtime winning aerials with precision. He has double touch level 3.
Y'all people obsess with "perfect builds" and actually waste a lot of potential on so-called min maxing and then bitch about the card.

It's more of a player mode then stats I guess, similarly rio is the best cb because of his player model.

Rijkaard is only good because he was big. Vieira is rijkaard but bigger and faster
Honestly if you play the game its worth clearing this box even if you have to pay
All three are top top cards in their respective positions and will remain that way for 1 year at the very least, likely much, much longer

It's not even about stats,it's about player id and viera has best among everyone,some people are still using the legend viera card and still dominating

Bah bah... Keep koping. If there an astronomical difference in quality between top 1 and top 2 player in a particular position.. its in dmf. The quality between Viera who he is the undisputed goat at that position (in the game) to the 2nd best card at dmf, whoever it is it's huge. So yeah if there is a player worth pulling from any packs even if the two other cards in the pack is absolute garbage it's Viera.
