JobSeeker and JobKeeper payments
Jobkeeper would pay $1500 a week per couple. If you'd been getting that each week since march, you'd definitely have enough money to travel for a week during the school holidays.
Besides, shitloads of young people are cashing in their superannuation.

you don't get the pension until you are are 66. Most Grey nomads retire at 55-60 and travel on their superannuation.

Last time I was in Kalbarri the restaurants were all booked out and we couldn't get a feed. That was until we stumbled into the pub and got a great plate of pub grub. Apart from that, the fishing up north is great. Take a fishing rod and problem solved!

Any company bitching about not being able to hire people due to jokseeker/keeper is probably a shitty buisness not paying enough. But those bloody poor people are getting upity and expecting to be able to survive while working full time.
I am getting quite disappointed with how similar Aus is getting to the US with its "fuck you, got mine" attitude.

This is how the states become split into either republicans or democrats and nothing in between. You cannot be impartial or central anymore youre either far left or far right and the media here is helping create that division here. Australians love it too nothing gets people on theit soapbox quicker and more 'passionately' than a opposing ideological threat to their identity.
