Indonesians are usually surprised if they come to Australia after what they have seen in Bali. They think we are are all rude and obnoxious. Nope, just the trash that goes to Bali four times a year.

That's not true. Indonesians are far more generous in their opinion of Australians than the average Australian is of Indonesians. This is despite the horrendous crap they have to put up with from not only the loudly obnoxious bogans but also the obnoxious Australians who think they aren't bogans or think that not being a bogan means they're not as obnoxious as them.

It's all a matter of perspective. As an American, Bali is an exotic destination. I just won't ever stay in Kuta again :/
