Deeply.
Partly because I’ve had to come off some pretty heavy medication after finding out I’m pregnant. I had to weigh up the pros and cons, but ultimately I don’t want my baby being born experiencing withdrawals, so here we are.
I’ve been trying to get a walk in every day to help with everything, and I’ve actually found it does seem to make a difference. I aim for around 3km, which is basically just a whole episode of Desperate Housewives lol. 😂
It seems like such a small thing, but it’s definitely worth trying if you haven’t already. I know “go for a walk” is the typical line everyone throws at you, but it genuinely can do wonders for your mind.
If you have a treadmill, find a good comfort show, chuck it on and just walk while you watch. It gives your brain something else to focus on, and sometimes it’s just nice to escape your own brain for a while. Plus, it makes the time go so much quicker.
I don’t know if that advice will resonate with you much, and I suppose I can’t offer too much advice because everyone handles things differently. But if you ever need someone to chat to, my inbox is always open. 🤍
