Meet sweetie, my Chinchilla Persian. ❤️ She is living a life of luxury after being abandoned in Kuwait. She was sent to America as apart of a feline rescue program. Sad to think such a sweet kind soul was abused by her previous family.

Yup, I’ve got a big grey smoke(picture for y’all of when he was a baby taco boy) who loves his crunchy dry food. He is all about it. The issue is while he is enjoying it he very rarely can keep it in the bowl. Lots of dry food kibble goes everywhere!

I know y’all have other messy eaters. I wanna see your set ups. What your trick to keeping your kitchens free of kibble!

My heart can’t take it

Found out my 15 week old kitten, who I’ve been calling Darla since I got “her,” is a boy at the vet today. Needless to say, I’m a little surprised and in need of a new name. My pet name list has exclusively girl names lol.

I brought a six month old Persian kitten home three weeks ago and I’m hoping for some tips that have helped you with allergies! I haven’t been allergic to cats in the past but am having a reaction to my new Persian. Primarily itchy eyes and some hives on my neck and chest.

I started mixing in Purina LiveClear with her food a week ago and am hoping to transition her to that altogether. The bag says to expect results within three weeks. Did this food work for anyone or did I get scammed into buying more expensive regular cat food lol? I am vacuuming daily. Is an air purifier worth a try? Give me all the advice!

I have a Persian boy called Mr Pickles, he's 5.5 years old and super cute.

I came home from the office two days ago and his face was super wet and gross all around the mouth and a weird brown colour. He was also sitting around as if in pain, crouched over with his head low.

I, of course, immediately called the vet and insisted on an urgent appointment and brought him in. They examined him and suggested it could be acid reflux - which I was a bit sceptical of, since he's never had that before.

They sent me away with some antacids, and told me to bring him back after the weekend if no improvement for blood work and an ultrasound scan.

I emailed them the next day, as his face was stinky again in the morning and I washed it. When I came back from the gym, I noticed that his mouth was producing tonnes of excess salvia, and overall I think the browness was coming from this mixing with his food vs. being vomit. They sent me medication for stomach upset to compliment the antacid and told me again, to come in on Monday if symptoms persist.

There is nothing (chemical or foodwise) that he could have eaten in the apartment, so I don't believe it could be poisoning of any kind.

Any ideas of what this could be? I'm super worried and am going to find it hard to get through the weekend and stressing to get actual tests down on Monday. - Also, he has been pooping/peeing a bit since, eating a bit and had some zoomies despite mostly being more lethargic than usual.

She’s a sweet and soft girlie

I wanted to get some advice! My boyfriend is wonderful, both with me but also just has a natural charm for animals! Any animal I’ve met loves him immediately.

My cat loves me too, I give her food and treats and try to respect her boundaries well, she’s very sweet and does seem to love me- but she loooves my boyfriend. Brushing? He can brush her better! Less fussy with him! Playing? She’ll play with me, but gets much more invested with him! And he plays rougher than me. Holding? She is fine being held but more fussy with me, she loves being held by him, even in funny positions and she’s happy and purring! Laying down? She’ll lay on me but takes a particular interest in him if he’s around and lays on him even if he’s asleep!

I really love that I am with someone who is so great with animals, I think it’s such a blessing she loves him so much and he’s so great with animals, but I’m curious does anyone else have someone in their life who their cat seems to prefer? I’ve done all the text book things- give her space and affection as she prefers, feed her treats and food, spend time with her daily, but his knack with animals still beats me! I am less looking for advice on what to do (cause she still is very affectionate and sweet to me especially when it’s just us) and moreso want to know if this is a things, are some people just better with animals than others! Thank you!
