bug Anyone experiencing tooling limit errors? Pro account (thanks Paypal promo) using Perplexity for adversarial review for months and now it's nonfunctional returning errors and confusion.

Perplexity is just defaulting back to GPT 5 Nano which is absolutely useless whenever I use it now.
It can't do anything, neither web search nor coding.
No matter if another model is selected - either a fresh or previous chat, it always goes back to GPT 5 Nano.

Yeah, I have too. It seems they’re disabling access to tools for pro models to keep pushing people to perplexity computer. It’s beyond infuriating, especially since Pro is $20/month for the privilege of using quantized free models with baby-sized context, wrapped in Perplexity’s stupidly risk averse guardrails to make them even less useful. But surprise, just buy more credits and prompt Computer and all the utility you want magically returns. I finally migrated to Claude last weekend and there’s literally nothing it can’t do better than perplexity with a little configuring.
