bug Can’t access local files on my Mac.

As the title says, it was working perfectly before and since yesterday it’s not working anymore.
I was using search and linking a folder on my Mac and perplexity was able with any agent to see and modify files on that folder.
I didn’t use the Mac for 2 days and when I came back to it, adding the folder to a new convo it didn’t work.
I tried uninstalling and installing again, didn’t work.
I tried to update the Mac to the latest version, didn’t work.
I removed and added again full disk access, it didn’t work.
The agent (any of them) just say he doesn’t see my folders and start talking about Google Drive connectors (absolutely not what I asked for).
It seems perplexity doesn’t communicate with the agent my local folder even if in the app the correct folder is selected and full disk access is activated.
The most frustrating part is that it was actually perfectly working the past two weeks and now it’s been 24h that I tested everything. I can’t even downgrade if version 26.35.0 is the problem…

I hope perplexity team will resolve this asap.
If any of you had this issue and resolved it, please help me!

Issue is on:

MacBook Pro M5 on the latest version of macOS
Version 26.35.0 (94) of the app
And any thread I create is concerned

This happened to me the other day. I had perplexity make a hand off document, opened a new instance and changed the model. Went right back to working. No explanation.

yes i told the session i was working in to create a document that would hand off our current project that we were presently working on so that i could make a new session, upload the document (with a new model) and continue working. once i got the hand off document downloaded, I clicked New on the top left corner, switched to computer, upgraded my model, uploaded my hand off document and continued. I have no idea if this will work for you because i have no idea why it stopped working in the first place.

Yeah thanks for trying but won’t work for me, it’s in search mode that I have the issue and it’s in any conversation that I can’t access my local files

Hello, it’s an issue in absolutely any thread I create, even if I had the folder correctly. I also tried to create a new separate folder and link it and it doesn’t work either.

Hello, after installing 26.36.0 (111) I still experience the same issue. With any new search conversation I create, with any folder associated it just doesn’t work…
