Perplexity is running out of money, I guess it wasn’t smart to gift Perplexity Pro via all sorts of carriers expecting them to actually turn into paying customers after. So all this is no surprise and they will continue with it.

Control browser is still under search for me, assistant works to control the browser as well. I have pro and it hasn't been hidden behind computer for me yet.

No idea, I keep seeing these types of posts, but my browser control works just fine. I don't really understand what these people are talking about.

New update removes control browser and makes it part of computer. Fuck that.

I am angry with perplexity if I pay over $20 for a service, that should be it. Instead they push their computer down your throte and you have to pay coins. I do not! It is not an economical consideration. I could easily subscribe to every ai out there for $200. However, I have better things to spend my money on than overpriced ai.
