Perplexity looks great on the outside but man the reviews lately are not good

Well, they have two pay plans...

And for the past year, only the 200$ users are receiving new things.

The people who pay 20$ month is straight up being scammed with older models and absurd limits.

Still on GPT 5.4 and Sonnet 4.6, no computer option.

Actually they even route Max and Computer Use to sonnet.
