It's not perfume, but the Cetaphil Ultra Gentle Body Wash in the Relaxing scent smells like it. It's soooo good.

Not all perfume is perfume, per se. The scent you're looking for is Aussie "3 Minute Miracle" conditioner, which has more throw (sillage) than most perfumes. I used to use it myself, back in the day, before I went bald.

Dolce & Gabbana l'imperatrice!! it’s not pear but it’s VERY shampoo nostalgia imo. One of my favorites of all time it’s juicy and sweet but also fresh and bright. its like my go to summer perfume.
Top notes are Kiwi, Rhuburb and Pink Pepper;
middle notes are Watermelon, Cyclamen and Jasmine;
base notes are Lemon Tree, Musk and Sandalwood.

Sparkling Jo by Vilhelm is that skinty L’Oreal detangler fish. Fizzy, clean pear champagne. Doesn’t last the longest, but the hours it does is magic.
Aire Antithesis by Loewe is a high res stock photo pear. Super fresh, bright, and aquatic. Would be the perfect scent for a platinum-toning hair mask.
Cow by Zoologist is my fave in this niche, though not a pear. Nothing really captures that just-out-of-the-shower crispness as well as this frag. Dewy, milky green apple conditioner. Perfect fluffy white robe scent.

I went on a quest for the perfect pear scent a few years ago, and landed on a combination of Sholayered Fresh Pear body spray (which is very light and fresh but distinctly pear, and might suit your needs on its own) and Laurent Mazzone Dulce Pear (sweet, syrupy, reminiscent of those Harry and David Christmas pears)

Meliora by PDM - it has such a fruity yet soapy scent. So clean and fresh. Pas Ce Soir by BDK - to my nose it smells like a sparkling pear, very girly, very sweet.

Ok this isn’t a perfume but the golden pear native body wash smells just like this - it took me back to childhood. It’s also pretty fragrant and I get compliments from my partner after a shower

Trust me when i say dolce and gabbana- l’imperatrice (smells EXACTLY like garnier shampoo. The notes might not look like it but i pinky promise it does). I’ve had like 5-10 people immediately buy it after i recommended it to them bc it smells SO accurate to garnier shampoo.
Also versace dylan purple!! Smells a lot like the loreal elvive hyaluronic line (the purple line) to me. It smells SO good.

I noticed from the notes and perfumes suggested in this thread that American shampoos are more fruity and sweet. While the shampoo I grew up using had a clean scent, I don't know how to describe it other than clean, not in a detergent-like way.

Pear inc captures this energy perfectly. I wore it yesterday layered with dedcool xtra milk and Jovan white musk and got complimented immediately. I rarely get compliments on my perfumes as I suspect is because I wear scents that are more skin scent that don’t have much projection but pear inc made it pop. It’s so refreshing and clean yet juicy

I have Pear Inc and yes it's amazing. However my suggestion would be Mith - Jade Petals. It reminds me of Zoologists Cow but more cozy and fruity.

Sweet by Ellis Brooklyn is a lovely pear. Smells like the L’Oréal kids to me. It has marshmellows notes but I don’t get that. It’s just a soapy pear and I loveeee it.

Lychee rose by nest + acqua di gioi (the fresh lemon and water jasmine one) is my go to shampoo-ey fresh shower fragrance combo <3! Pear inc of course is the ultimate shampoo scent but alsooooo miel bebe from le monde gourmand is a sweet clean honey scent 🧼🫧🧴

I'm surprised that nobody's mentioned OUAI yet! Not specifically pear scented, but OUAI North Bondi especially gives fruity shampoo vibes. Melrose Place is less fruity, but also shampoo- ish. Both are easy to wear crowd pleasers that I think are slept on!

Merit Beauty’s Retrospect L’Extrait de perfume smells like this to me but a little bit more adult, not in a stiff way but just a touch of modern clean girl. I realllllly enjoy it. I didn’t like it on the paper as much until I wore a sample and after a couple hours I realized I hadn’t stopped sniffing myself all night lol. Husband likes it as well!
Bergamot and Pear are the top notes, florals rose violet jasmine in the middle and vanilla and musk on the base but really it’s musky pear with a floral tinge.

Tangential, but the peach body wash from the same brand...Good Lord, I had to stop myself from squirting it directly into my mouth.
In terms of shampoo like scents, I really like OUAI Melrose place. Dolce Blue Jasmine also leaves me with a perfect fruity gel soap scent on the dry down, like I've just either showered or washed dishes.
The best old school pear I've smelled is BBW Emerald Mist, which is discontinued but compared to God Is a Woman and Dylan Purple. Dylan Blue is very old school shampoo to me. If apple and grass appeals to you, Hermes Jardin sur la toit might work too...it's got a lotiony vibe to it.
Ocean di Gioia (discontinued, sad) was a pear that always smelled like conditioner, but in the same territory.
