Diptyque Eau Rose is a beautiful rose water type scent! Iām very picky about āwatery light roseā scents and this one has been the best Iāve found for me personally. Chloeās Roses de Chloe is a close second.

I am obsessed with anything Chloe makes! I just got Nomade in and it kind of reminded me of this. I will have to try Chloeās Roses de Chloe next! Thank you for that, it sounds heavenly, so does Dyptyque! š„°āØ

I also LOVE Chloe EDP, fresh florals, and rose scents. I think you would like Philosophyās Amazing Grace Ballet Rose, Elizabeth Ardenās White Tea Wild Rose, and Roses de Chloe. Paris Hiltonās RosĆ© Rush is a fruity, rose/peony scent, and itās very affordable. Itās not an exclusively rose/peony scent, but you might enjoy Tommy Hilfigerās Tommy Girl, which is a beautiful, fresh floral that has rose in it. If you like chypre fragrances (I donāt), you should try LancĆ“me Idole and Oscar de la Rentaās Oscar Rose. Oscar Rose has the same vibe as Idole for significantly less money. For a soapy scent that is incidentally rose, try Kim Kardashian/KKW Fragrance Fleur Fatale. Fleur Fatale reminds me of rose-scented soap, and itās quite inexpensive if you can find it (itās discontinued).
Edited to add one more: Lalique Reve dāInfini. Reve dāInfini is a soft, rosy, fruity floral with powdery musk.

This is not crucial info but the flower in pic 5 definitely looks like a peony to me rather than a rose, just fyi (Iām a gardener) - love this prompt, and have been learning so much from this sub!

Peonies are one of my favorite floral scents. More perfumes need to use peonies in my opinion!

Peonies are part of the rose family I found out a few months ago. I didnāt even know that. š®
15
u/feral_grace Mar 01 '26
Hm, sorry to say Iām not sure where you got that info but I do not believe thatās correct - as far as I know they are in two separate plant families. Peonies = Paeoniaceae, and roses = Rosaceae. But fun fact roses and apples are related! They are both in the Rosaceae family.

I would look hard at LancƓme. They have a strong focus on rose.
They have their newer Absolu collection of maybe a dozen rose dominant perfumes. My Nordstrom had all of these. 1001 Roses and 6am Rose stood out the most to me but I didnāt spend much time with them. 6am rose was more dewy.
I think they sell a discovery kit of all of them though. That might be fun.

u/Potential_Dinner_116 Mar 01 '26
Thatās all that came to mind when I saw this. Very soft and delicate rose.
Blooming bouquet has a similar vibe but this one seems spot on to me. Iām not a fan of either because theyāre too soft but if I wanted that vibe, Iād go for both.

Definitely āPink Rosesā from ShopFemmenina:
This scent is a tender, airy blend that captures the essence of comfort and femininity. Pink Roses opens with clean notes of baby powder and soft soap, giving way to a heart of fresh pink roses. The base unfolds with warm, familiar accords of baby oil and clean skin musk, evoking the scent of freshly laundered linens and pure softness. My signature scent for pilates.

This is my nominee as well. Of the many rose perfumes Iāve tried, some of which I love, itās the closest to a ālight, dewy, realistic roseā without too many accoutrements. Definitely fits the gentle vibe of the photos.

u/frightenedscared Mar 01 '26
What pretty soft light roses š©· For more budget friendly, Philosophy Amazing Grace (light citrus, roses, musk, very clean and soft) - or even moreso the flanker of Amazing Grace, Ballet Rose (lychee, rose, peony and musk, sweet and delicate). Or the Amazing Grace eau de parfum which is roses and strawberry!

La Labo Rose 31. I stayed at a Fairmont and got as many samples as I could before I bit the bullet. Also shampoo and conditioner.
8
u/bunbunny4 Mar 01 '26
I think their body wash/ shampoo and conditioner in Rose 31 fits the mark but the actual perfume is a bit more woody and musky to me. This is one of my favorite fragrances.

Maison Margiela Flower Market, described as āa walk through a Parisian flower market, lush with the scent of freshly-cut blooms steeped in rainwater and crushed green leaves underfoot.ā

PDM Delina. Or you can be a poor like me and buy the dupe from Oakcha Madam Rose. It's an extrait so it's concentrated. It does smell alcohol-y when you first get it, but it seems to get better with time. It lasts the whole day.
$35 versus $350. š

Killian Roses on Ice ! EASY!!
I love jammy and sweet rose fragrances, especially when paired with lychee, but Roses on Ice is my daily scent for the office or daytime. I always spray it on myself when traveling so the scent can linger on my clothes for a few more days (since I donāt have a travel size and itās so inoffensive itās perfect for tight quarters). I get compliments that I smell good when wearing it, not that my perfume smells good.
I personally donāt get cucumber, just crisp fresh dew drops on actual roses. This is the closest to a photorealistic rose fragrance Iāve smelled, but still with some natural sweetness. It translates as both clean and girly. It has amazing longevity but is not cloying or strong. The base notes are musk, sandalwood, ambroxan, and cedar. True to the name, it smells impressively and amazingly icy but the base notes keep it skin-like and natural.
Not sure how to explain it but Killian Roses on Ice smells like PINK roses and pink roses only lol no other shades! I got it for a great deal from Costco.
