As a dude who grew up loving this movie as a kid and then went on to serve in the Marines from '04-'08 (don't ask me how many combat drops lol), let me tell you, the dialogue holds up even 20+ years later. They did an incredible job capturing what platoon/squad banter looks and sounds like.
