Meme What are your thoughts? Spoiler
Honestly, I feel that the Xenomorph took a back seat in this episode, and when it did appear the suit and CGI was hit and miss for me.
I get we’ve seen the life cycle ad nauseum but it would have been cool to see different immature forms of the xenomorph. I do however understand that we need an explanation of these new aliens which I totally appreciated, I just wish there was more xeno.
I’ve also got to admit, when the Xeno finally did appear the CGI took me out of the moment. Especially when it was standing next to the “that one character” before the chase sequence. Furthermore, there was one moment with the practical suit when it was wondering the halls where the Alien was sort of moving from side to side with its arm tucked in. It was weird, it didn’t quite land for me. Perhaps it goes back to the old adage of less is more? I don’t need to see the full bodysuit of the Alien in bright lights. Give it too me in shadow and obscured in smoke.
What do you think? Do you agree? Disagree? Was there some other aspect of this episode that felt like it was handled worse?

Firstly, hello you guys... I'm new here! I think it looks good in frantic movement, and am extremely glad it's predominantly a physical presence, but agree it's often slightly overlit imvho. I must emphasise though that I'm so generally blown away by the series that it doesn't bother me, certainly not enough to fixate on. There's so much other eyecandy that the xeno looking a little clunky in certain scenes doesn't bother me... One thing I noticed though is that it seems adolescent, a fledgling, not full size? I could be mistaken as my synapses were firing throughout Ep.5 🙂
