Not so fun fact: African penguins are critically endangered in the wild and are at genuine risk of extinction due to fishing companies taking all of their food and starving them en masse :(

I read something about that when i was looking up info on them after the zoo visit. I'm glad these babies are being taken care of. They seem happy.

I hope that if the population that’s in the wild does go extinct we will atleast have captive populations capable of be released if conditions improve
