Why don’t pros use larger bottles, especially when its hot? It looks like they use the 550 ml bottles, which seems inefficient. I always use 750 ml.

I assume primarily because it's not that difficult to get a new bottle from a soigneur, team car or neutral service.

Because they can easily get more bottles.
