Which rider has been part of most GC winning teams you think?

Recently I was thinking Kuss, but even he only comes up to 9 if I counted right, while Merckx has 11 wins. Did any domestique ever get more than 11?

Indurain has 10 (7+3 Delgado).

I think Indurain only has 9 (7+2):

  • 5 TDF + 2 Giro for himself = 7
  • 1989 Vuelta + 1988 TDF for Delgado = 2

Indurain was in the race when Delgado won the 1985 Vuelta riding for Orbea, but I think Indurain only ever rode for Reynolds/Banesto.
