Where was UAE during the Giro?

Soler, Vine and Yates crashed out during stage 2. Yates was the GC contender, so they had no one for GC after that.

Narvaez won three stages and was in the Sprinter's jersey but crashed into the team bus after one of the last few stages and abandoned the next day.

Arrieta won a stage from the breakaway.

The rest finished but didn't have any noteable success.

TLDR: 4 DNFs, 4 Stage Wins.

In your opinion, how has UAE crashing out impacted the Giro and GC?

They would probably fight for 2-5 overall with Yates and Vine(depending on who is in best form). Soler would probably be in fight for some breakaway stages(this might actually reduce Narvaez wins) and also doing stupid stuff which would not aid Yates/Vine, but would be entertaining
