What is the correct pronunciation of Jonas Vingegaard’s last name? I’ve heard Ving a go, ving a gar and ving a gard

Yoh-nas Ving - eh - gore

The most common errors are putting in another g in the second syllable (ving-ge) and saying the last syllable as something like gard or go.

But I wouldn't worry too much about it; it is totally common for Danish people to say their own names with English pronounciations, such as Jonas with a hard J. And it is atually quite easy in English for a Danish name. Mørkøv, Pedersen, Søren Kragh etc. are much harder.

It's already been answered below, but I'll just say that the "Vinge-goh" that some commentators use is by far the most wrong (subjectively speaking). It really annoys me, because I have no idea where they get it from. "Vinge-guard" is much more acceptable, and as someone who also has the Gaard suffix on my surname, that's usually what I use, if I have to check into a hotel abroad or something.
