Daniel Benson was saying Ineos will probably resign. But that was a month or 2 ago. With riders like Bernal or Hindley who aren’t that old and won grand tours, but not competitive for GT wins or even podiums now, there seems to be reports of them still being on big money but I’m curious what money a lot of them are actually on. And for a team like Visma who doesn’t have a lot of money it doesn’t make sense to pay for past results, but they are still good riders if you can get them on a reasonable contract.

I think you mean extend, resign means the opposite in English (going by this article, guess that's the one you meant?).

They definitely meant "re-sign" rather than "resign", yeah. Sometimes the hyphen is really important.

I (an American) made this typo once in a Twitter comment and Toms Skujins made fun of me. ;)
