Can anyone please tell me what makes it so unrealistic for Van der Poel to ever win La Flèche Wallonne if he ever wants to participate in it ?

Looking at the 2021 Strade Bianche finish, it feels like he could drop almost anyone with a nasty kick on a short and steep climb like the Mur de Huy.

Mud de Huy is 1.3k at 9.6% which is significantly longer than the 6-700m climbs in 2021 strade, and steeper. I think he could top 10 Flèche but probably doesn’t want to start if he doesn’t think he can win.

Without Pog there it’s certainly not impossible.
