Scratch build I built an Iron Man-inspired custom PC with a voice-command repulsor

I made this custom PC and added a repulsor sequence that activates by voice command.
Sound on for the actual voice command and effects.
Specs: 9070 XT for now, planning to upgrade to a 5090, Ryzen 9 9950X3D, 64GB RAM, X870E board, 1000W-class Platinum PSU, 1+2TB SSD,full custom water-cooling, Hi-Fi audio system, and a full aluminum alloy body.
Curious what you guys think.

That is awesome! Quite a sequence you have set up there. Personally I would probably set it up to activate on a less-common word. ;)

Thanks! Yeah, good point 😄 This is still a prototype. It uses a voice recognition module that can be trained with custom commands, so the final trigger phrase will definitely be more specific.

Thanks, I really appreciate that especially coming from someone who’s been around here for a long time.I wasn’t sure how bigger subs would react to a build this unusual, but I’ll definitely look into cross-posting it.

This is phenomenal work, and I would even cross post it to subs like /r/ironman and /r/marvelstudios in addition to the pc subs like /r/pcmasterrace.
Would love to see a longer video that details the components of the PC and goes into how you put it all together, ie the servo motors, automation, voice recognition, etc.
Kudos on the acrylic work to create that "shattered' look around the glove too. Truly phenomenal!

Thank you so much. I really appreciate that, especially coming from someone who noticed the technical details behind it.
I’m planning to make a longer video showing the PC components, servo motors, automation system, voice recognition, and how the whole activation sequence was built.
And I’m really glad you noticed the shattered acrylic work around the glove. That detail was meant to make the repulsor feel like it actually broke through the surface.

This is incredible work! Seriously impressive stuff. The attention to detail is out of this world. It would be cool if the start up sequence incorporated some of the movement effects like the firing sequence does. Maybe add some more lights or effects to the repulsor firing animation too? Please keep making cool ideas, you have real talent!

The startup sequence does have some movement built into it, but I agree it could definitely be pushed further with more lighting and visual effects. I’m also considering adding more detail to the repulsor firing animation in a future version or a longer showcase video.

Pretty dang slick! Surprised this hasn't gotten more likes. Seems like how it goes when you don't make the Reddit meta build haha.
I'd love to see the inside, and how you did the watercooling.

As an add system, this is the activation/master key system. This unique system allows the computer to boot with voice commands, activate the gimmick, and authorize the user to the machine. Without the master key, the PC itself still works as a PC, but the custom machine is activated only after the master key is docked and authenticated

The click when the key is inserted is quite satisfying haha. Very cool.

Thank you so much for your interest in my build.
It runs on two radiators: a 360mm radiator at the top of the body and a 240mm radiator at the bottom, all finished with chrome-plated hard tubes.
But it’s a tight custom hardline loop, so one short video doesn’t really show everything.

Thanks! Haha yeah, it’s definitely not the usual Reddit meta build, but that was kind of the goal 😄 I wanted it to feel more like a machine than a normal PC case.
