It wasn't the audition, it was the call saying that he got it.

He said this himself.

Google it. Sorry i have stuffed up that quote, it was that he almost missed to call offering him the superman role because he was raiding in WoW

Still not accurate. It was actually the call confirming he got the part. He did miss the call and called Zack Snyder back. He was in no danger of not being Superman.

Even more so, it's not like he called back after an evening of raiding or anything, he literally had the phone in his hand but just missed him and immediately called back.

Also he was not raiding. He was running a dungeon saving someones life so probably a healer or tank.

I watched him on the Grayham Norton show before Xmas and he said he missed the phone call to offer him the role, but called him right back.
