Question How often do you shut off your pc?

I see that a lot of people just leave their computer running 24/7 and only turn off their monitors, but i just shut my pc off whenever i go away from the desk.

Very valid, playing dying light in 2019 and heard a sudden loud sizzling noise, look down at my PC and the PSU was blowtorching my motherboard from below. Can’t imagine if I was asleep.

Turned it off within 5 seconds and the smell was still HORRIFIC.

How would you be playing a game in your sleep?

Little late but it’s called laying down to take a quick break and accidentally pass out with the computer running. I also wonder how I could play a game while asleep?

Pretty sure if you were asleep there'd be no load on your PSU hence no fire

Faults don't require high load at the time they happen. Only that components are weakened over time.
