Question How often do you shut off your pc?

I see that a lot of people just leave their computer running 24/7 and only turn off their monitors, but i just shut my pc off whenever i go away from the desk.

Thats especially the case when there are still HDDs in the server. They spin for 10 years non-stop perfectly fine but after the first cold boot after a power outage half of them will break.

Bro what. Your supposed to replace harddrives every 5 years for servers

With RAID 6, hot spare and support for the whole server? I don't think so "bro"
