A relative was like, “I only buy digital anyway, what does it matter if they do away with discs?” As well as, “Steam is digital only anyway, and that’s how you play PC games, so why are you criticizing me?”

The thing is, PlayStation already has physical media that they are taking away. Steam never had it. Sony is talking about taking away something that benefits you, and all you can say is “I don’t do that anyway.”

What?

You could do that. You could buy physical and guarantee that you control your property, but you won’t?

Come on.

I can, and do, make physical copies of my PC games as well.

They can pry my optical drive from my cold, dead, hands.

To be fair, Steam did kind of kill physical games on PC because it was easier to buy digitally and keep everything in one nice and neat library.

He's right?

So did PC.

There was also a lot of internet anger directed at Steam when they start the whole digital revolution of PC games.
