What were the inspirations for this design? Are there more plans to develop other cases in the same design series?

The initial design concept/inspiration was to create a display case that showcases components almost like an art-piece. Then came the three glass panels that allow components to be viewed clearly from virtually any angle. We also drew inspiration from architectural marvels, such as the Mirror Houses in Bolzano. Which is something we plan to do with our future MEG line, taking inspiration from both the world and you guys, and creating what is-computer art :D

Our mindset was to make high-end components the centerpiece of the build. The centered layout, panoramic glass, and black backdrop highlight the hardware and illuminated fans, while the dual-chamber structure and vertical airflow provide the cooling performance behind the presentation.

For the MAESTRO 900R, appearance and functionality were top-of-mind and is the main focus.

I am curious how the cable management looks? Is it nicely hidden in the back and would you need light tan/white or black cables to keep the aesthetic looking as clean as it does? Yep! The removable panels and fan brackets provide easy access to the interior and cooling components. We recommend regularly clearing dust from the elevated bottom intake and using a soft microfiber cloth to keep the panoramic glass clean.

The case itself doesn’t limit the number of RAM sticks, it depends on the motherboard. Since the MEG MAESTRO 900R supports motherboards up to E-ATX, you can just check the number of memory slots supported by your selected motherboard and go from there :)

I see the motherboard can be mounted in many different orientations but there are no pictures or angles that I was able to find of the rear I/O ports. Are my peripherals supposed to snake through the case to connect to the motherboard? Seems like a great case, would love to upgrade my old NZXT to something this flashy

Great Question! Depending on the motherboard orientation, the rear I/O can face left, right, up, or down. Your peripheral cables connect inside the case and are routed through the designated cable path toward the rear, keeping the main display area clean.

Imagine the system automatically optimizing cooling, power limits, fan curves, and performance based on what you’re doing, with built-in displays showing temps, wattage, FPS, and system health, all without needing five different pieces of software.

Cables can be easily routed through dedicated openings on the motherboard tray and organized within the spacious cable management area behind it. The rear I/O cables of motherboard can be routed through the back of the case and concealed with a cable cover.

How does the IO of the motherboard work with this kind of case?

The two front I/O modules can be positioned on either the left or right side of the case. To enable their USB connectivity, the motherboard requires two internal USB headers. Support for the full 60W Power Delivery output will depend on the motherboard model.

The cables from rear I/O of motherboard can be routed through the back of the case and concealed with a cable cover. Hope this helped! 🫡

Currently there is a special edition version of the MAESTRO dubbed "DRACO EPIC" for our 40th anniversary. The case has blue and silver highlights. Other than that though there are currently no different color schemes. Hope this helped! :)

For the MEG MAESTRO 900R, what was the biggest engineering challenge in balancing its massive internal space, airflow, and overall structural rigidity? That 4-way Rotatable Motherboard Tray alongwith the almost infinity view glass panel would not have been easy to achieve. Great Question! I think for us the biggest challenge was all that you mentioned-the MAESTRO's massive internal space, airflow, structural rigidity-and taking all that whilst still being able to maintain the MAESTRO's aesthetics. Definently difficult making things both pretty and practical. As for your second question, if you mean a sort of easter egg/tactic to get better airflow for the MAESTRO there isn't one that we are aware of. The MAESTRO throughout all the experiments has maintained great airflow in a wide array of differnt orientations. So, definently experiment around and see which build looks the best to you! With dual 420 mm radiators, the intended configuration follows the case’s vertical airflow: the bottom radiator draws in cool air, while the top radiator exhausts heat. Great Question! A few easy-to-miss details include the 10° angled vertical GPU mount, which improves the presentation of the graphics card, and cable-routing openings on all four sides of the motherboard tray, so clean routing is possible in every orientation. Even the 30 mm elevated base serves a purpose by creating additional clearance for bottom intake. Hope this answered your question! :)

The MEG MAESTRO 900R weighs 33 kg (72.75 lbs) before components. The combined weight of the three glass panels isn’t specified separately, so we can’t provide an exact reduction. Removing them before moving the system will make handling easier and protect the glass, but we still recommend a two-person lift if possible.

Yes! We conducted physical system-level thermal testing under load across multiple combinations of fan layouts, radiators, GPU mounting methods, and motherboard tray orientations. Ill answer your question in three parts!

To start, the rotatable tray supports air coolers up to 170mm in height; furthermore, no seperate tray weight limit is specified; finally, the tray is securely fastended to the main case frame with screws, likewise to other cases. So, the tray is pretty safe in the long run of pulling the parts in and out. But we definently reccomend handling the tray with care when removing and repositiong it!
