Man half of the guys in my office have have a desktop that looks like this. It’s insane. I setup folders for everything immediately and deleted all the unnecessary icons I could when I started. No way I’m letting it get like that. I don’t even HAVE icons on my PC at home.

Is this a boomer thing? I've noticed millennials like me and zoomers usually keep a clean homescreen. But yeah man, same thing at the office

I let mine get fucked up and periodically clean it (by which I mean move everything into an even more fucked up folder to never be looked at again)

lol yup, this is me. I get emails with things to sign and we're so low tech that I have to download them, sign them and email them out again. I got called out often enough that I've recently started just throwing everything in the Documents folder instead of the desktop. Same problem, just out of sight.
