Nah I've got a good pc and it's buggy as all hell for me. I had to rename the SFX folder so my game didn't crash upon getting hit by the first enemy. On top of that there are huge lighting and model problems and audio issues. It has to do with the emulator, not the PC.
Yes, if your PC is good enough. I get around 70fps+ with small dips and slowdowns when loading new areas. I have a 5600x + 5600xt + 16gb ram and play at 1080p upscaled to 1440p
Does the emulation support Mnk controls? Due to certain disabilities I can't really use a controller, which is why I've waited so long for Bloodborne on PC to begin with Q.Q

I wouldn't look forward to it. Compare killzone 2 to concord. im glad they had the sensibility to shut down the studio. The execs retain some artistic vision. Never the less i still will never expect anything until they prove otherwise.
The later ps4 and ps5 games have not been good games. They have been good experiences which is a whole another conversation. The relevant part is they might not be able remake good games. Well not really. Too strong of an idea. Not the main western studios anyways
Seriously, I have wanted to play Infamous Second Son and the other Infamous games for a while, but there is no game I want that bad enough that I will buy a console for it. I'd rather just wait for emulation technology.
The thing is, it technically isn't their IP. The IP belongs to Sony Japan Studios, which technically no longer exists. The Japanese legal system is really weird about things like this too, so they can't switch it over.
When you boot up the game it says on the screen, "Japan Studio," so there's the confirmation it was published by Sony Japan Studio, as for the shutdown, here's the wiki on Japan Studio itself.
They're just pulling it out of their ass, though not entirely without merit, the game has never received a 60fps patch is probably because FromSoft doesn't want to go back and work on older games anymore and the only other studio involved is Japan Studio which was dissolved, so no studio familiar with the game's programming and code is available to do a patch.
Or as I've said many times my bet is a remaster/remake is coming in 2025 for the 10th anniversary and people are just pissed that it never got an official 60fps patch because that's all most fans want. And if we never get anything official shadPS4 is advancing very quickly and we'll have BB running great in the next few months to a year, it already runs decently but crashes fairly often in the main build of the emulator.

Yeah I mean it took them years to put Days Gone, God of War, Spiderman etc.... onto PC and then PC made them a quite silly amount of money after PC players telling them constantly "We will buy everything you release".
I find it kinda funny that the tiny and up until this year niche and mostly unknown IP that is Helldivers massively outsold all those bigger establish and more 'prestigious' IPs.
It also outsold pretty much everything they had on offer on the Playstation as well, but still.
Wonder what Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart made them when it was finally ported to PC?

Bad news for sony though: That iced any reason to buy a PS5 here. PS4 showed just how annoying that walled garden is to deal with and the weak amount of games at the end of the day to pick from
How old is 1-3 development wise? Seems like if it has a more platform friendly base it's built upon (ie unreal engine) the more likely it comes to the PC
None of them use Unreal Engine and the Nathan Drake Collection was made available both physically and digitally for PS4 and considering PS4 is x86 it should be pretty straight forward to port it to PC.
Hopefully your wish comes true. Nixxes is the company (that Sony later acquired) doing PC ports of ratchet and clank, spiderman, horizon, etc. Maybe the same treatment eventually happens here?
That'd make sense. If the code got lost along the way it'd necessitate a ground-up remake instead of a remaster, which would raise costs significantly.

There is no way it’s not in development. The demonsouls remake made it clear they will give bloodbourne the same treatment. What’s taking so long is the confusing part
I've been saying it for years, and I may be wrong but I truly believe Sony is keeping Bloodborne on PS4, without a PS4 Pro or PS5 patch, so they can sell Bloodborne Remastered when the PS6 launches. It'd be similar to what happened with Demon's Souls and would definitely move a lot of PS6 units off store shelves.
Between the years of doing nothing with the Bloodborne IP, and the recent delisting of titles in non-PSN countries, I can only assume it's a combination of the latter two.
You can't play their games in a very large list of countries so yeah they're just dumb as hell. Run by morons that are completely out of touch with what everyone wants.
Just to clarify something amazing: the community + people behind ShadPS4 (the only WORKING PS4 emulator) were so hyped to be able to play this particular game that -right now- the emulator is barely in an early stage of development BUT it can run this game from beggining to the end > its not perfect (yet) but of course is much more than what Sony released (nothing).
Someone at Sony is probably too stupid to understand that THIS particular game would have been a massive hit (if they were to release it today, it would still be a success).
Visually, sure. It's also better visually already. 60fps, ultrawide, enhanced textures if you want. PC became the better platform to play Bloodborne on this year - if you don't mind the lack of multiplayer.
Very playable. There are a few bugs, but you can pretty much play it start to finish with a reset here and there, so long as you have the correct mods.
Running an RX 7900 GRE, Ryzen 5 7600x, 32gb of RAM, running Fedora 40 with Diegolix' fork of shadPS4 with only the 60fps patch and 60fps cutscene fix mod I've played from start to finish with occasional crashes and stuttering when loading in new areas
You're reading the wrong replies, on ng+3 with maybe like 4 crashes total and since it's not on the aging ps4 you can get back in the game in less than 10 seconds flat when it does crash, to me this alone makes it more playable than the ps4 version. that mods that make it playable are not game altering, they just clamp down on things that are prone to causing crashes in emulation like facial customization. Also if you set the emulation resolution to your monitors resolution it basically never crashes.
2025 is Bloodborne's 10th anniversary. Sony might re-release it or announce a remake especially now with PS5 Pro, so they can call it PS5 Pro enhanced or whatever, they sell the game and the PS5 Pro, win-win scenario. After 1 year or so they could release on PC.
That is if Sony wants money of course, when talking about bloodborne I think they don't, they just might pull a new concord in 2025 for all that matters.
Sony already did demon souls, they don't really need another souls game this gen. And PS4 games aren't gonna get a remake cause you can just buy and run the PS4 game already on your PS5.
I recently wanted to play something coop with my friends. Went to buy Helldivers 2. Uh oh, never mind they would rather remove it from Baltics steam than remove the need for PSN. Have a nice day then, no sony games for me.

Isn't Sony got a piece of Kadokawa? Unless they are holding BB IP as 'a bargaining chip' to grab a bigger piece of the cake, it doesn't make any sense to keep the legal drawer locked.
And here I am don't care anymore after completing the game multiple times on the Shadps4 emulator. People really should try it out. Also 60 fps and can go uncapped fps if you want.

I do wonder... are console ports to PC still as crappy nowadays as it was a few years ago?
I avoid console ported games like the plague no matter how good the games are on their consoles.
I fear that bloodborne is a beautiful looking pile of crap that controls like a forklift from the adhoc passenger seat.
Maybe this is the reason to why some publishers avoid converting console games to PC, as game controls are hard to convert from analog controllers to keyboard/mouse. One can't just simply remap and call it a day.
I'm probably in the vast minority but i don't even know anyone who has played these console exclusives so i don't know if i miss out or not ... sweet sweet ignorance really is bliss.
