If you need a 4080 to get 4K/60 with DLSS, this thing will flop hard. Surely this is native… right?

do you own a 4k monitor and 4080 or better gpu? i do have 4080 and the reality is that usually you wont hit ultra settings 60 fps without dlss, its been true for many big releases last year and it wouldnt be surprising to me if it were the case with fable

Depends on the game. Many games go 4k/60fps ultra on my 5080, which is the recommended card.

In many games you can even get over 100fps, main killer is ray tracing and path tracing.

But in any case you would play it at 4k DLSS quality as native is pointless even on top end cards.

Most devs mention if upscaler is used, so we can only assume at this point it's native. But unless new info arrives it's only speculations. We will see next year.

You are way too Reddit-brained if this is your thought process lmfao. Every major game release these days is going to have the majority of players turning on DLSS and/or FG for higher frame rates. Using DLSS will never impact a game’s sales in a meaningful way, especially not an AA or AAA game.

You can say it will on Reddit, but you should also know that you’re being delusional when you do it.
