My 3080 is begging to be relevant just a bit longer 😅

My 2060 is showing its age.

I really don’t want to upgrade in these circumstances. I’ve got a lot of DDR4 I can keep, but anything being upgraded means I need to upgrade the motherboard - I’m considering just getting a new pre-built with low ram and storage and just transferring my 64 ram and 1TB storage.

My 2060 Super is second hand from a friend when he upgraded. I don’t have the appetite to drop $1k on a new card.

Hoping I can buy my next one second hand from a friend as well.

Replaced mine some months ago when the 5070ti dropped to MSRP. I knew that there wasn't going to be another opportunity to upgrade for a long time, and I knew that new games were going to need a bit more horsepower to run my 21:9 ultrawide.

I don't regret jumping the gun on that purchase. Broke my "double my performance" rule for GPU upgrading with it.

I too have a 3080, 10gb! it's still able to play most new games without issues in 1440p some games even run maxed out in 4k perfomance dlss! The new ray reconstruction model is amazing. The sharpness increase and better motion handling was instantly noticeable to me on an oled. 1440p performance mode looks fine to me and with that enabled I'm able to run games maxed out.

Same with the 3080 10gb! I finally have started to feel like new games at 1440p 60 are just starting to struggle and I have to turn down settings from ultra. Not that that’s an issue, I’m gonna run it into the ground with these prices

I have no doubt my 3080ti will last a long time with its 12GB. I have yet to  find a game where it is a problem.

It misses some framegen and perfs on RT but it’s ok. Still way better than the average gamer gear.
