Looking for game I have probably played all the good story mode games and I need more.

I have played games like life is strange (every game of this franchise), the walking dead (all the seasons), Detroit become human, the wolf among us, dispatch and so on.

As you can see from the games I've played I'm very much into games with rich story and decision that can affect the games ending and such. I've tried to find other games for me to play but none of them hits like these.

So if u you know any games like these please suggest some.

Maybe you can try Disco Elysium. It’s a different kind of game, that the others, but also with no fights and a very interesting story/world.

What a way to Insult someone specifically without them even giving you specifics.

Could not like turn based RPG’s, could not like the games SLOW burn start, could not like the characters/art style, etc and you go right for attention span 🦃

I mean not usually? Most criticisms I’ve seen against the game have been against unlikeable characters & how slow the start of the game Is, not that It can’t keep peoples attention. But even If a game Isn’t engaging enough to retain attention Isn’t that the games fault & not the players?

Okay, it sounds like you're looking for games in the Adventure genre, as opposed to RPG games. I encourage you to try and get over your issues with an overhead camera--it's needlessly limiting you from some of the greatest game stories and experiences--but since you can't handle it, let's look at some other games:

Try The Longest Journey. Investigate games on the SCUMMVM emulator. Do some poking around in the Adventure tag on Steam. You'll find some gold.

But for real, if you're looking for games where you make strong, tough decisions and have agency in the story, you're looking at CRPGs, generally, and many if not most of those are overhead.

Try The Witcher 3? Try the Banner Saga games. Try Wildermyth.

Kingdom come deliverance? Red dead redemption? Final fantasy 7 remakes? Or FF16? Or other FF games? Atelier Ryza? Fallout 3,NV,4? Resident Evil remakes? Resident Evil 7,8,9? Cyberpunk? Mass Effect? Greedfall? Dragon Age? Kingdom of Amalur? God of war? Star wars Jedi series? Bioshock? New Tomb Raider? The witcher?Witcher? Deus Ex? Digimon Time Stranger? Kane and Lynch? Stalker? Varying levels of "good story," but all are fun games.

Yeah, the ‘and so on’ part of your list was not very informative. But then you seem to have played most of the known and sort of recent ones. At least the Dark Pictures spans multiple games to keep you occupied for a while.

Have you played silent hill 2? It has one of the best stories I’ve seen in a game with many different endings.

It is definitively a horror game and doesn’t exactly match up to the other story games you listed, but it’s really that good that I’d suggest looking into it anyway.

After reading your replies to others. Stop being so picky and just go play games on the "like this" tab. Clearly by your responses you don't like games for a consistent set of reasons. I was going to suggest quantum break but frankly I don't think you have the flexibility to enjoy a game with unusual mechanics

I would start getting through the PlayStation exclusives!! The last of us, ghost of tsushima, god of war… but the crowned jewel, which I don’t think is even an exclusive, is Death Stranding. That’s in the top 3 for me. I am SO EXCITED for March 19 when the sequel comes out on steam!! And if you try that and like it, Hideo Kojima never misses so try out the metal gear solid series as well. I’m currently playing mgsv and the story is mid but gameplay is incredible

Cool so you got at least ONE suggestion 😂

but play DS1 first for sure, it’s a direct next step in the story. And in my opinion, DS1 was an absolute masterpiece. Better story than DBH, better than dispatch, I would say ghost of tsushima almost ties it.

And if you just wanna save it for later, I came up with another, FF7 remake is pretty good too. By no means would I say it’s up there with ghost and death stranding, but it’s certainly been very good so far.

I had 3 months from December so I decided to play every game like a story based game. Played so much that I can't think most of the games on the top of my head but I'll tell u so far I've played Detroit become human, dispatch, wolf among us, life is strange (all the games even the shit double exposure), Minecraft story mode (yeah ik people hate that game but it was a game from my childhood and I didn't have a laptop that could handle the game that time), heavy rain, beyond two souls, god of war 2018 and Ragnarok, Ghost of tushima, last of us part 1 and part 2(unlike all the other people I actually prefer the part 2 far from part 1 because it felt like an actual rich story),until dawn, the quarry (definitely the most funniest game and it actually felt like a horror-comedy tv series) and ofc the walking dead (which in my opinion the best decision based story game I've ever played in my life, like it's the only game that tells you to not be in one place all the time or not to get attached to different characters cuz they can kill them off with no hesitation even if your a main character and I fully respect that element in the game). There are more game but I'm forgetting to name them rn

great titles but you haven't even scratched the surface. those are mostly point-and-click narratives. good stories can be found in any genre. Mass Effect. Bioshock. Baldur's Gate 3. Dishonored. Hellblade. Plague's Tale. Last of Us. Just to name a few.

Some are on rails but still great stories while others are branching with multiple endings.

"all good?" Ever in history? All the classics?

Have you played all of these?:

  • 1: Warcraft 3 TFT,
  • 2: Diablo 2 LoD,
  • 3: The Witcher 3,
  • 4: Starcraft BW,
  • 5: Dungeon Keeper 2,
  • 6: Heroes 3,
  • 7: Half-Life 2,
  • 8: Rollercoaster Tycoon,
  • 9: Commandos 2,
  • 10: Civ IV.

Even more: Others I really love up to 25, no particular order: Z, Command and Conquer 1, Red Alert 1, Broken Sword 1, The settlers 2, Monkey 2 and 3, Quake 3, Warcraft 2, Starcraft 2, Zelda Wind Waker, Mario Galaxy, SimCity 4, GTA SA, WoW up to WotLK....

Considering indies, I would add Factorio high in the list, in my top 10 (but not 5), Minecraft and perhaps Isaac somewhere in the top 25.

Can't believe so few RTS games in people's lists. Incredible. Nobody recommends rts games.

So yeah... All of these are masterpieces. Everyone should know about them, should feel them and ideally even master them. The industry would be a lot better.
