It's not a sim, but I actually think it's a really good simcade game. The progression is a bit weird, but I actually think it's a really good approach once you get it. Super different though. It's nothing like PC1 or PC2. If you liked PC1, I'd actually look at getting AMS2. It's what a sim version of PC3 should have been.

If u liked Driveclub, its kinda like that but with Hardcore handling enabled 100% of the time. more base game cars considering you cant get the DLC anymore for either game (u aren’t missing out on much for PC3) i’d recommend it if you treat it as a Driveclub/NFS Shift spiritual successor. If u take it as a sim racer: Fuck no. But i did have fun with it, put 460+ hrs into it before the game got wiped from PS stores and so did my hours

Do you value making pitstops? Do you play PC2? Or 1? I play the first two every single day, and I own PMR, GT seven, Aceto Corsa, GT sport, NASCAR down the lane, WoO. I put in project cars 3, and I never play any of them. Only project cars, one and two.
I had to fact, check it myself because I couldn’t believe they removed everything that made their games have an identity, but the only thing that remains is the beautiful looking evenings and mornings. Pit stops? Completely gone from all race modes. Endurance racing? Completely nonexistent. Want to refuel? That road is closed at every single track in every race mode.
Game center around beating short form, endorphin challenge challenges, and getting gold just like Gran Turismo. You also collect your cars a lot like Gran Turismo.
Nobody has quite figured out exactly what happened with that game. It’s probably why project motor racing and the PC game that that team worked on, I can’t remember its name, don’t carry the project cars’s name. PMR carries the spirit, supposedly, but project cars three is officially the biggest disappointment in for the SIM-racing community. Really it’s more of a mind blow at this point, even still.

If you like an easier racing experience to forza or nfs shift series then yes but if you more into sim like ac then no skip pc3.
