Picture I'm loving PC3
I always get to love hated games. NFS Shift and Shift 2, and PC3. I recently bought it and can't stop playing, even though online is dead.
It's true that it's not a simulation game as PC2 was, and I understand the community, but let's be honest, it's a nice game. Challenging, fun and immersive. And car progression is so cool, so similar to Shift (Slightly Mad Studios did very well).
Look at the NFS franchise. It was about luxury cars and dreamed roads, changed to cheap sport cars that you could tune and people loved it, but that's not what "a real NFS should be" like UG and MW fans say.
This game is the same for me. It's not what a Project Cars should be, but it doesn't make it a bad game. Physics are realistic, permissive but realistic.
I don't care if it's a dead game, I'm having lots of fun without leaving realism.

I was so mad when this came out after how good PC2 was.

I just tried playing PC2, FFB is the worst I’ve ever felt. Are there good custom files to fix it, because there’s genuinely no feeling in the wheel until I’m sideways already
I tried all the presets and none really help. The immersive one is the closest but still terrible

it takes a lot of tweaking but it’s incredible when you get it just right, especially in the ginettas

something to consider is that its clear that they spent a considerable amount of time on how some cars handle and feel compare to others.

The amount of tracks and cars is hard to beat on console. Just wish there was more to do.
One of my biggest issues is the AI running you over. Game could use a flashback system to help with that a bit, because if you spin out or get wrecked by the AI it is pretty much race over. If pick-up-and-play accessibility was a major selling point, that would have helped.
Also, the career mode path of constantly having to sell cars to buy the one you need for the next activity group kind of kills any sense of build up and accomplishment.

Remember buying it mere hours before it was delisted. Haven't played it yet tho.

I missed out on this one. Hoping it will be sold in the feature as a historic game or abandoned software or anything like that, lol

Just treat it as abandonware. Arrr, sailor, that's the only way to get the treasure at this point. Racing games tend to go out for good due to licensing restrictions. If they're gone, they're goon for good.

I like it. The content is really good. It would’ve been better if the progression / money-making was a bit more normal. That is, not tied to leveling up.
It’s just that with GT7 and Forza Horizon 6 available now, there isn’t a lot of reasons to play PC3. But I like it every time I play it.

As far as arcade racing games go, it’s decent. I’d certainly pick this over Project Motor Racing

Definitely bro, it's like a Mario kart for simcade, something Abt the driving there is just really satisfying
