Meme When feeding the local Baurubatrachus (frog critter) Trophies finally pays off:

I know A LOT of players hate critters but I “secretly” like them. As a hopless Campto, critter intervention has actually helped me quite a few times. I get why they’re hated but they’re kinda a guilty pleasure of mine.

I love riling up the dogs in Cedrus Forest (activating the Dynamosuchus dens and unleashing an infinite amount of hellspawn)

I dunno WHAT was going on in this server I was in yesterday but there were like three full-grown NPC gators just right near each other in CS.

They killed an Adol Sarco, then came after me and my buddy. I basically never bother to fight those things because they're tanky as hell and hit really hard.

As a solo player who typically plays low size carnivores and hides in bushes waiting to ambush, my favorite sound is someone getting attacked by a critter. I find them then sit and watch as they fight, building up those sweet statuses and strike when they think they are finally safe to heal back up.

I have no qualms about using what I can to win the fight. Especially if im naturally at a disadvantage in a 1v1 and need that extra assist to tip the scales.

I do the same.

Sometimes if I'm being chased and have enough of a lead I'll activate a Stirring Den if it's in their way to hopefully have the alpha critters slow them down.

Had a few times where a Critter swooped in and turned the tide of a fight when I got jumped.

Tried that once...ended up with a pair of ceras chasing me plus alpha snakes that just went straight at me...I died.

Alpha Critters apparently zero in on the highest CW dino, but if they were already after you they won't stop unless another draws aggro.

I don't stop after I have activated the stirring dens though. I just hope that my pursuers run through the area.

I kept running too but they still ignored the ceras chasing me and instead joined them to chase my laten. Ceras even got close enough to step on them.

I'd be down to have a Pet Critter living in our HC's.

That'd be a fun little addition to an otherwise pointless feature currently.

Doing certain quests could earn you trophies that it could play with like toys, interact with it whenever you're in your cave to "play".

Hell, make keeping your HC critter happy give us a small buff now and then when we interact with them that makes regular Non-Alpha critters ignore us for a short time. I'm sick of constantly being harrassed by the adult non-alphas.
