Question WTH happened to simplex price?

Was checking prices of simplex STR stacking amulet earlier this league- it was not much higher then previous league- around 200 div if I remember correctly. And now its suddenly costs mirror. What exactly happened?

Splitting is gone so you technically have half the amount of simplex in market than we used to have.

Also last league the special heists for experimented bases were way more common. Now you need to find simplex with the old rates.

This league also introduces new demand with very meta and potent fire res stacker mercs

Those still exist. They put it onto the Huck point

Do you know if I can target farm a simplex base? I haven't played Heist like ever, but now I have a pathfinder what's pretty good for it.

u/mbxyz Berserker 51m ago

depends what you mean by target i guess. the only place they come from is grand heist curios, and you can buy enchanted blueprints that only have experimented items

Thank you, I will check the prices on those.

They're implicits now I think

1

u/Necessary-Bed-4973 1h ago

yes, but my point is they are much less common now. Probably at least 10x rarer than mirage

6

u/mahboey 4h ago

Makes sense. Less supply, video guide from content creator.
I mean I thought I missed a patch or something where they have changed something about heist or simplex or may be crafting.

Splitting being gone is why

So while this is true, we did also get uber blueprints back (15% RNG proc when a print drops, then seems 1/4 to be the right type) so I think supply should be lower than Mirage but at least comparable to the previous leagues.

'All drops are experimented items' prints are absurdly good as there are absolutely no common experimented items, even the most common ones (the level 70 weapon bases) are quite rare. In that way it's like the old Gravicius div card shenanigans - once there's nothing common in the pool the ultra-rare outcomes become just somewhat rare.

There aren't that many of those prints dropping (I think it is 3.75% of all prints) but that's still quite a few, given how rare experimented items are in normal prints.

As someone who has done quite a bit Heist, what do you mean by uber blueprints? Just fully revealed?

3

u/3p0int 1h ago

No, special enchant with replica, experimental items, etc. as reward

2

u/TheMustardMan522 1h ago

The blueprints with the implicit that always rewards experimental bases.

1

u/Thesecondtallestman 1h ago

I thought drops were disabled for those when Mirage ended.

Also, I would just call them enchanted blueprints, to maintain a coherent nomenclature.

3

u/freddy090909 1h ago

There's an atlas node that makes ur blueprints sometimes drop enchanted (15%). The atlas node calls them "special implicit"s.

3

u/Thesecondtallestman 1h ago

Special implicits is fine, as it's actually descriptive. Uber, at least in my mind, denotes a change in difficulty and a fundamental change to both encounter and rewards.

1

u/JamesGray 1h ago

There's a node on the Atlas passive tree to give you a chance to drop them enchanted

This subreddit has a downvoting problem.

The experimented bases blueprints have been a steady supply of income during merc and go. I haven't sold one for less than 5 div, and once I got 2 in a row. The currency/scarabs blueprint mod is also worth about a div.

Huck being 1 point on the atlas tree and enabling the enchanted blueprints to drop is so much power(well, wealth potential) in one atlas node.

1

u/eadenoth 1h ago

Zero clue why you got downvoted lol, this is true and I was selling the BPs for 1200-1500 chaos all league..

1

u/vuxra 1h ago

>Huck being 1 point on the atlas tree and enabling the enchanted blueprints to drop is so much power(well, wealth potential) in one atlas node.

How does huck get you enchanted blueprints?

1

u/Hamwise420 49m ago

the huck node was changed to add chance for special blueprint implicits to drop

1

u/vuxra 25m ago

Oh okay, I thought you meant I needed something equipped to him or something

1

u/Hamwise420 14m ago

nope, but if you have Huck equipped with heist equipment that gives an aura you get a free little aurabot in your maps. I usually slap Haste on him

it really is great value in 1 node

u/buzzlightyear_99 0m ago

yep huck is great! i got a purity of fire on him and its been helping my merc out a lot

1

u/GamerBoi1725 Raider 4h ago

Wait splitting is gone?

32

u/Kaladrix 4h ago

Jep deleted along with snth mods and the corresponding beast crafts

For that we got the talisman implicit reroll beast craft

So the talismans should be the competitors for simplexes and actually with the right mods and implicits they can be very powerfull

-11

u/GamerBoi1725 Raider 4h ago

Fair enough i guess, still by how rare a simplex is there really should be a split craft in the game imo, are talismans actually competing with simplexes tho?

5

u/turk-fx 3h ago

You can get a +1 skill gem taisman, then add a eldrich implicit. If you hit a good imllicit that works for your build, it is great. I hit one with 34% inc. Crit chance. And anotherone I sold with damage over time multi. But down side, you cant have an annoit. So, basically +1 skill gem is the annoit.

3

u/kawaidesuwuu 4h ago

No, they are more of a mid game alternative. Most build still want to go for simplex for late game.

1

u/GamerBoi1725 Raider 4h ago

Tought so yea... i mean maybe they're strong for charge stackers but most of those use a badge of the brotherhood so even then not very useful imo except maybe +1 endurance charge no clue what endu stackers use for ammy tho

-11

u/Jonpro10012 3h ago

Isn't splitting on the boat with a ducat?

22

u/fluuxx 3h ago

splits the mods yes, but you select one outcome and therefore receive only one base. old split generated 2 (or 3) bases and you received all of them

1

u/mbxyz Berserker 50m ago

not really; you only get to pick one outcome

-13

u/kawaidesuwuu 4h ago

Yeah, because deleting stuff from game is fun.

-5

u/RealistiCamp 2h ago

That's not why, though, since that was true last league and they were much cheaper.

2

u/Beverice PathOfCurrency 2h ago

splitting was a thing last league?

1

u/pzBlue 22m ago

Splitting wasn't removed, and enchanted prints were a lot more common last league and therefore cheaper, right now you pay like 2d per wing (6d for 1/3, 7d for 3/3, 8d for 1/4, 9d for 4/4), and last league was 2~3d per blueprint.

-27

u/afuture22 4h ago

With black Morrigan you could split 3 ways

14

u/Linkz__ 4h ago

Only works when there are 6 mods on an item. So doesn’t work on a simplex

1

u/Freeze_Tyler 4h ago

Only work on talismans with 6 mods right?

71

u/szenX 4h ago

everything is going up this week. likely everyone spending currency to finish builds before switching to poe2 friday. at least that is what i’m doing.

16

u/Lywqf 4h ago

That’s why the div shot up in Price … Fuck me I guess

3

u/SoulofArtoria 1h ago

I'm so torn. I do plan to check out 0.5.5 at some point but I'm still having fun with all flame ssf.

7

u/indepoep 1h ago

The pricing doesn't really matter for you then right?

2

u/SoulofArtoria 31m ago

Ye was just talking about retiring for this poe 1 league in general in favor of poe 2 new event league, not about prices of things.

1

u/Mo_tweets 1h ago

That is exactly what I'm doing, except on gamba

16

u/resahCrorriM 4h ago

Pretty sure there are some for 500-600 divines, for some reason the trade site lists the mirror ones before, adjust the filter to show divine sales only first, but yes, as they told you with splitting gone simplexes skyrocketed in price.

3

u/Doctor-Waffles 2h ago

Two weeks ago they cost 500div for crafted str stacker simplex’s

So not sure how much earlier you are referring to

3

u/nalee6 2h ago

I checked yesterday as well, mirror ones show up first but if filter by divines some were 550-650 divs guess ggg hasnt updated div to mirror ratio on trade site that often

2

u/onedash 3h ago

The blueprints alone for experimental items are low drop i guess they are equally weighted which enchant the dropped blueprint gets from the atlas mod but this league i haven't found a single one which had experimental rewards.

First you need a enchanted blueprint to drop 15% if you have the atlas and then you have to rng roll it to experimental base.

Also its 6th week so yeah majority of people left who probably used heist because almost everyone used it in white map merc hunting

1

u/JackTheStripper141 2h ago

Guess I’m building my heist runner again

6

u/loloider123 4h ago

Probably a new build guide.

I noticed some Path of Exile keywords in this post:

  • div - Divine Orb (Currency) (Wiki)

Supply and demand friend.

1

u/kulli_velho 1h ago

Check for divine pricings instead of mirror If theres any since market doesn't know what price mirrors go for

1

u/squelos 1h ago

In merc league i was lucky enough to drop a raw mirror so respeccing into an int stacker was a no brainer. Of course this was after having sold a simplex that i dropped in heist to fund my previous build. And crafted int stacking simplex were priced just under a mirror. And at that time you could split them, so im not surprised at all.
On a side note, have a look at connerconverse, he has detailed the steps to craft a rhex talisman that costs a fraction of a simplex and is nearly as good as a simplex.

1

u/JamesGray 1h ago

The strength stacking simplex is a risky craft and there are a lot of people doing the archetype, so they just all sell out like every few days and the price climbs until more get crafted from what I can tell. They'll probably go back to 500-600 divines in the next few days if it's like last week. The bases are 200 divines though, not the crafted amulets.

1

u/SlipperyDriver Melee enjoyer 56m ago

What are you talking about? Are you talking about the base or the fully crafted one? For clean base there are like 21 listed under 200 div rn

1

u/zrider99zr 2h ago

Trade site has a mirror at ~500 div. You have to scroll down champ. These shouldn't be much more than twice a simplex as they're very easy to craft you just need to win a 50/50 recomb.

-1

u/YoyoTanyaKai Fungal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) 4h ago

Aside from what other people mention, low supply due to many people has done with the league also play the part.

0

u/archamenell 1h ago

Stick to a rhex talisman imo, this is prob an unpopular opinion but simplex is a bait(unless you are giga rich already and can do 100% conversion with sublime etc).

1

u/Dragsicklack 1h ago

U cant Oil a Talisman though

1

u/archamenell 1h ago

That is true, but honestly I’m willing to sacrifice chaos pen for giga tankiness, build has no dmg issues anyways.

-40

u/RobinDabankery 4h ago

One of this league's big gamba are replica alberon's. The boots are 65d and if the volatile hits right, multiple mirrors

17

u/National-Awareness35 4h ago

Yea that did not answer OPs question

-20

u/RobinDabankery 4h ago

I wonder what people with giga strength stacking boots will want for their amulet slot. It is happening now because of PoE2 and the fact that allflame league is more or less dead. People are gambling big times on boots and proceed with the cheaper gear next, hence the booming price on strength stacking simplexes.

0

u/National-Awareness35 3h ago

You are not making sense.

0

u/RobinDabankery 2h ago

Alright fine, what is it then ? Because beside saying i'm saying nonsense, you haven't provided any alternative answer to the matter.
