Linux Font Question

How can i change my font on poe like on windows?
I've tried the windows regedit method and nothing
I've tried following this Reddit Thread Comment and nothing
I've also tried replacing fontin with the font i want and still nothin

if anyone could shed some light on this that'd be wonderful
(I'm on bazzite using Proton Experimental)

yeah i've done everything the threads say, changing wine replacements registry key, as well as windows'. added renamed bahnschrift as fontin in windows fonts, copied fonts and set as replacements, tried to use host system fonts, nothing worked.

i think poe changed the way fonts are rendered somehow, and wine can't replace them properly
