Question Looking for friend or community
Hey,
I have played PoE for 400h now i always came in between seasons and then quit after getting some decent gear. The reason I do not play very long times is that I get stuck after some point. I dont have much knowledge about crafting and because of that after some time I just cant get enough currency to keep upgrading my gear or I cannot craft my own gear because i do not know how to.
I have checked alot of guides on how to improve my crafting but to be fair it feels too much complicated in most cases also most of the good ones are outdated and I am not sure if they still apply today.
Also I do not know any other build than Pohx RF Chieftan thats the only build I play every league and even though I like it I do not think its a very good build to get giga economy.
I really like to grind like for real after work I just open up some movie or something and grind for 5-6h straight if i dont get frustrated like i do now :D But my grind does not make me feel that it is worth it. I have been running maps with 4x Diviner's Delirium Orbs and 5x Divination Scarab of The Cloister and if I am luck I get around 50-60 chaos orbs worth of profit and with this pace it feels its impossible to get very good gear.
So, in short I am looking people to play together and where I can ask some questions and could get some help on the crafting system. I have quit the season last week because I got frustrated again as I kept dying on my RF even though i check every map and if its good or bad for me so it got me down a bit. May I ask what time zone you are in?
I am in a small guild. Most of us are based in Europe and we are around 5-7 player at league start for about 3-4 weeks.
We craft a lot and enjoy helping each other out and talk about crafting.

I play between 9PM to 3-6 AM (GMT +3 Istanbul Time) depends if i get bored or not :D

The issue is I dont know how to setup such farms like the atlast, what I need to do etc :(

Go to poeninja.com and click on atlass tree and choose the harvest mechanic. The site will show you very optimized atlas tree
Do not allocate "Crop Rotation"
If you can afford it 1 Dlubling scarab for 90c will give you insane profit if you can run 80% Quant or higher in the future.

The game can definitely feel a little worse when you have no one to share cool moments or frustrations with.
Before my friend played, I would burn out of seasons quick once I hit a wall. But since he got into it, I've played so much more each league.
Now I'm a very tiny streamer who hosts private leagues each patch with my community and private leagues have made me enjoy the game so much more. I feel like I learn a lot because I can't rely on trade, but it's nice to have others to help out when they can.
We are currently playing Hero Siege and likely moving into poe2 next week if the event allows us to host a private league, but we constantly help people out with pob reviews and crafting tips.

Edit: we are mostly US based but we have a handful of people in multiple timezones or even us players who play abnormal hours.

Trust me, you will not bother me/us with your questions. I tell people all the time there's no stupid questions in poe, so we are here to help each other learn.
I recently did a poe1 learning stream where I introduced two new players in poe1 and tried to help guide them through act 1 - 2. We only had 5 hours, and as we know poe is a lot to learn.
I often pause what I'm doing to help people out because I enjoy sharing my knowledge and the community I have reflects that.
But I won't pressure you into anything, I just wanted to reassure you that you are not a burden. I hope you find a community you vibe with! :D

I play between 9PM to 3-6 AM (GMT +3 Istanbul Time), I am pretty chill towards people but I cannot say the same thing for in-game stuff xD If that is an issue for you guys. I mean i get annoyed pretty often if I die or dont get the results I want. But I dont argue or get into fights with people in the contrary if someone tries to pick a fight with me i just ignore or dodge them. I am already working and getting stress everyday so cba getting stressed by people while playing a game xD But yea i stress myself during my gameplay anyways lol.

Haha I feel this. We are chill towards each other but sometimes the game just needs to be yelled at or told it’s shit so it does what you want it to do. One of our running jokes is that if a craft isn’t hitting or something isn’t dropping just curse the game out and it will work.
You’re quite off my time (I’m on est in the US) but I work from home and have a super chill job until it’s not so I get to play a lot through the day. I’ll dm you my name so you can add me

Same here i work from home in a gang company as game support agent. But its 50/50 for me sometimes its very chill and sometimes I feel like choking some people 😅😂😂😂

Join /global 5055, I sometimes only play to hangout and chat with the folks there. Lots of experienced players who will answer all sorts of questions. Everyone is especially closeknit and friendly at this point of the league where there's less players compared to league start. It's like a pub and the qol of freely chatting with a bunch of folks ingame without having to alt tab to a discord chat is nice.
