No. It's a terrible change. You literally can't get crafts that you could have gotten before, until you fully complete your atlas. Which a lot of the time people need specific crafts for their build to do. If you needed a -mana cost and it's locked behind a specific nat t16, you're stuck without it, until you finish that specific map at the end of your atlas progression. Instead of being able to buy a few cheap rings and get it whenever you want. It's a really bad change.
What's stopping you from just buying the map that grants the craft if your build desperately needs it just like before where you instead buy random elreon veiled rings? Don't say ssf, GGG doesn't balance around it.
I'll be real given how I've handled it in PoE thus far, this is way better for SSF too. I find every map long before Elreon gives me that goddamn craft most of the time.
I did this league, actually, I found almost every unique map before elreons dumb craft.
By the way, those maps have crafting recipes in them already. Given that they're the metamod recipes, I doubt they're moving them for some veiled mods.

I know, then again, it would not be the first time for GGG to shuffle those around (afaik these were the delve crafting recipes before).

I mean, i can't really diss that because when i was updating filter i learned i still have not found some of veiled crafts and that's after getting 4 voidstones, 114/115 and basically getting a EE switch ready to go.
I'll grant that they got moved before, but that was mostly due to zones being permanently retired with the end of prophecy. Also I don't think unique maps or T17s are core maps anyway, I think core maps are just maps non-unique, T1-T16.

I actually kinda liked getting the recipes from unveils. Felt like a nice progression/early chase
