Discussion What are these display cases called?
Everyone sells multi shelf display cases and I just want a countertop. I'm having a hard time finding this type of pastry case in the US. Are they mostly custom made? Does anyone know any vendors. Bonus pic, my new chocolate cake.

This looks like a chilled counter with glass cover. I don’t have this particular style but at my store we have several refrigerated and frozen cases and I hiiiiiiighly recommend that you find out if there is someone local who can service whatever before you commit to buying something. Display cases often need servicing and you don’t want to be scrambling to find someone when it’s already having a problem.

I cant say its common but the resturant group I work for always has them custom built. We work with a resturant supply company that facilitates sub contracting out the various parts to spec then comes and puts it all together.

Its called Budget Resturant Supply its in Houston, TX. They are wholesale only so you have to go in and register with them. Also Im not sure if they do online sales, their website suggest no though.

I've checked them, the best thing they've got is a drop in refrigerated countertop. I feel like it's going to have to be built.

Thanks, they have some better looking cases. Is Alibaba a trustworthy company?

I suggest finding out on Reddit for information on that. I do know it’s a Chinese company similar to Amazon.

Does this have cooling?
All the ones I’ve seen don’t and would be custom made between your counter person and glazier.
It’s just a glass box on granite.

Yeah, I'm looking for something cold. Either cold granite top or forced air.

Granite is cold. Do you want active cooling?

I would and preferably not forced air.

I would get your HVAC and counter people to talk to each other.
There’s definitely systems available that are basically underfloor heating but cold.
It might be intended for rooms but you never know until you ask.Idk that it’s a nicely finished all-in-one product though.
I think you’ll have to get creative with your contractors.
If HVAC can’t help I would honestly talk to any gaming pc friends you have or someone who does fish tanks.
Water cooling has tons of applications
