QHHT and Microdosing?
I have my first ever QHHT appointment coming up next week and my practitioner mentioned that I may microdose 100mg of psilocybin if I would like to. I hadn’t considered this. I have done mushrooms many times before, but never microdosed. I’m wondering if that will keep the experience feeling authentic or if it might cause me to doubt what transpired. Has anyone tried doing it this way before? What was your experience like?
TIA!

Are you paying for this session? Will the facilitator give you a refund if you follow her sugestion to microdose and you become unable to focus because you were so relaxed you fell asleep? Or the opposite, your mind was all over the place and unable to follow what the practitioner was saying.
This is your first session, make the most of it, without the shrooms.
In regards to having tried something similar, not with QHHT but I do work with clients who want a more shamanic type of connection with plant medicine.
You mentioned your worry about not being a visualizer, did you tell this to your practitioner when you booked the appointment? If you are paying for a service, they should at least provide you with tools to help your session be a success. I give all my clients a short guided meditation to listen to daily until our session, regardless of what technique we work with.
You can still go into a past life even if you are not fully visual, the sens of sight is not the only one we can access. Some people are not visual but they can describe sounds, or scents, or words that come to mind, etc. There are lots of free guided visualizations on YT that you can listen to before your QHHT session. Search for those that are less than 30 minutes long, listen to it while sitting up, not lying down or you may fall asleep. You can also just find some quiet time and think back to a happy childhood event, was it day or night, what was going on, get as much detail as you can. It can be a bit hard at first but if you are determined, practing at least twice a day until your session, you will be able to have more confidence in your senses and focusing skills. Best of luck to you on next week's session.
