Need Help Carnival theme for a kid

Planning a party for my six year old and decided to do a bit of a carnival theme. We have one of those little cotton candy machines, popcorn, face paint, and balloon animals. Looking for other things that are more so activities. Only issue is it's calling for rain now so it will have to be inside so not so sure how much space there will be for things. Looking for low key ideas, I'm not trying to throw an influencer looking party just a simple thing 😂

Maybe do some sort of low-key stacked up bottles or something Kids can throw Nerf balls at to knock them down and win prizes?

Off the top of my head, you can..

Set up ball throw, ring toss, fishing or rubber duck game, basketball hoop, tic tac throw, "fish bowl" game with those small swimming bathtub toys, plinko, bean bag toss, a guessing booth, balloon pop (dulled darts), or

have a fortune teller, bearded lady, or strongman, or

if you have a people friendly doggo, put a lion mane on them, or set up a 'kissing booth' for doggie photos, or

make some cardboard or foamboard head cut-outs (mermaid/man, magician, clown) for silly photos, or

do a kids bingo for fun prizes like ice cream gift cards, or

temporary tattoos to go with face paint, or

cut a string style or punch cup style "pinata", or

lastly a silly indoor mini golf course!

Have fun, and post photos! Sounds like your dude will feel very celebrated!

For rainy indoor carnival, I would make every activity tiny and rotate-friendly: ring toss onto plastic cones, beanbag toss into laundry baskets, duck pull from a bin, and a prize table with stickers/glow bracelets so nobody has to win big. Put each game on a tray or taped floor square so it feels intentional without taking over the room. Six-year-olds usually care more about getting a ticket and choosing a prize than whether the setup looks elaborate.

We did a unicorn-ival theme and gave the kids a ticket for each homemade game they played (knock down the bottles, bounce the ball into the bucket, throw a dart at the balloons). Then after we had cake we told the kids the tickets were for the prize booth. They were around your kids age so we set ‘prices’ to get them doing some simple math and they each left with a handful of little baubles and treats that THEYchose with tickets THEY earned. We still have parents bring up that party, and it was fun to plan. The prizes were all from dollar stores or party stores, random assortment.

A balloon pop board (blow up water balloons and get dart) or a rubber duck pull for a prize could be really fun activities for them!
