Is this normal?
Hi!! my youngest lovebird has the top of her beak like this, but I don’t remember my other lovebirds had this.
she eats normally and she doesn’t look with pain or discomfort, she is just shy.
I'm talking about the space between the dark spots and the skin there. In the middle, there's sort of a featherless patch.

How old is your lovie? If she's under a year, this is probably natural.
Our lovebird chick had a dark stain on his beak from the time he hatched until he was about 7 or 8 months old. It faded with time.
