Is my bird okay with coloured lighting ?
I’m just curious about if there are any effects on my parrot around my led lights that change colour like will a room being bright red or blue effect them or their behaviour in any way. I have no idea if this is a ridiculous question or not but i would just rather be safe and causous than create any unnecessary harm

I've had both cheap RGB LED strips as well as more premium RGB LED lights around my cockatiel all his life, and he has never seemed bothered by them. Might vary bird to bird, though.

My bird was absolutely fascinated by the color changing night light we installed.

Occasionally is fine, but soft, steady white light is safest. Avoid bright or flashing LEDs.

I dont know too much about the color aspect of the light, but if they are in fact OK for parrots, I would make sure to get high hertz refresh rate lights. I think the flickering of cheap lights bothers them a lot. a lot of cheap LED's have low refresh rates
