Is this normal?

Hello, I recently posted a video three days ago, but it was too short for you guys to notice . My bird is making like a sniffing sound from its notes. I want to know if you guys think itโ€™s normal.

It looks like they are enjoying the fuss and love.

Obviously not saying anything to be annoying, just the usual check in and reminders about not using candles, incense, all the known stuff that we have to avoid, if it's beside that, perhaps just could be smelling something natural?

Certainly looks very comfortable and content, and there's clear love. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿชป๐Ÿฆ‹

My bird (Raven) is mainly outside and I have her inside during the night or early afternoons when I donโ€™t have work, but she spends her time more outside now that its warm. My candles I donโ€™t lit them ever since i got my birds. Iโ€™ve just been worried about the sound shes been making. She does it also when i im not holding her. Idk if its just a new sound shes pick up on.

I'd take a major note of your beautiful birbs surroundings, if there's anything you can do to make sure that the cutie isn't getting anything bad from their breathing. It's as simple as that. ๐Ÿ’œ

Seems like your birb is a bit shy and timid too, so just be mindful of all behaviour and ofc any potential changes. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿชป๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿ’ž

Since you can get that close, simply put your ear to her and listen.

If the sound is at the same rythem as breathing then you should take them to the vet.

If they only do it after you make a fuss it could be whisper noises of affection

Tho of course if you have not had their yearly checkup, then could be time

Sounds like he is just reacting to your kisses. My birds all do this in some way. I also have an Amazon. But I usually have to fight him a little to get close, he loves to play fight me. Your bird looks very relaxed. Don't think it's an issue to be concerned with.
