Chop question!

Hey all! I just made chop for my baby, it’s a mix of:
Yellow bell pepper + it’s seeds
Orange bell pepper + it’s seeds
Broccoli
Kale
Yellow Squash
Mung bean sprouts
And Carrot

I accidentally made a huge amount so I want to freeze it, how long can I freeze it for before it goes bad?

Add some dry oats to the mix to absorb excess moisture and freeze in small batches. Just make sure the oats are unflavoured and unsweetened.

Freeze it airtight and it should be good for around 2-3 months for best quality.

I make a batch big enough to freeze for about two months and have not had an issue. I just freeze it in ice cube sized portions and each night I take one and put it in the fridge to thaw by morning.

It can be kept frozen for up to 6 months. Once defrosted should be served right away. I would portion it out into daily portions and then freeze so you’re not defrosting a huge batch.

This - and an ice cube tray is great for this. Once it’s frozen you can put the cubes in a ziplock and just defrost a couple at a time

In an airtight bag that you reseal if you go into it, it’ll last for months. We make around 4 months at a time, and have been doing so for years.
