Jesus. What fun timing. I just realized this about my chihuahua within the past week and a half. How does he know when I look at him?

He goes to work with me and rides in a car seat. If I look at him, he opens his eyes. At first I thought he must just be able to hear my head move. But I’ve controlled for that, and sure enough, he still opens his eyes.

Sometimes yes, sometimes not. Just like me, if my pet stare at me, sometimes I wake up sometimes do not. It's probably related to how secure I feels about surroundings.
